Downtown Minneapolis Engagement Photos | Bri + Parker
Downtown Minneapolis is filled with incredible locations for engagement photos, Bri and Parker's session showcases a few of the options!
For their engagement photos, Bri and Parker chose to have their session in downtown Minneapolis. Part of that choice came down to the feel and style of the city, and part of it came down to the amount of different locations there are to choose from. Minneapolis is a city full of charm and character, and by having multiple locations incorporated in their session, Bri and Parker’s engagement album ended up with a TON of variety to it! Let’s take a look through some of the highlights to give you an idea of what I mean.
Bri and Parker’s Engagement Photos in Minneapolis
The engagement session started with Bri and Parker matching in their Green Bay Packers attire. The two originally met at a Packer bar, so they wanted to incorporate a piece of their relationship history into their session! These engagement photos took place in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood which has a ton of personality to it. We were having a blast from the get go, but it wasn’t too long before we made our way to the next location.
We headed up to North Loop for the next portion of their engagement photos, which included not one, but two outfit changes! First were portraits along the streets in a more formal outfit where we were able to take advantage of all the red brick that make up a portion of the buildings here. Finally we made our way to a parking garage for some skyline portraits with both Bri and Parker in more casual outfits to finish off their session.
Locations Throughout Minneapolis
As I mentioned, and as you can probably see from Bri and Parker’s engagement photos, Minneapolis has quite the variety of locations to choose from for your engagement photos. Bri and Parker’s session took place in only two of the many neighborhoods of the city. We took advantage of the different settings of these neighborhoods, using the now closed Herkimer Pub, LynLake Brewery, and the old CJ Duffy Paper Company building. These buildings and businesses are part of what gives the city its charm, but they only scratch the surface of what you can find here! Whether you’re looking for something more urban like Downtown West, or something more natural such as Theodore Wirth Regional Park.
Finding and choosing a location or two for your engagement photos can be difficult, which is why I recommend working with a local photographer (like myself!) to help guide you. Let me know the vibe and style you’re looking for and I’ll be able to recommend locations that fit your vision for your session.
I’m so glad I was able to capture Bri and Parker’s engagement photos in downtown Minneapolis. It’s been so much fun reliving this session and sharing it with you all!
