Breathtaking Elopement in the Utah Salt Flats | Cheyenne + Nephi

The Utah Salt Flats is one of the most stunning and beautiful locations in the US making it the perfect location for a destination elopement.

If I had to describe Cheyenne and Nephi’s elopement in the Utah Salt Flats with one word I would choose breathtaking. I'm not going to do that though. Their day was incredible from start to finish. Everything from the location, their outfits, and Cheyenne and Nephi themselves all came together to create an experience like none other. Their day deserves so much more than a single word description which is why I'm so excited to share it with you all!

Elopement Portraits in the Utah Salt Flats

To start Cheyenne and Nephi’s elopement we took some solo portraits taking full advantage of the gorgeous landscape of the Utah Salt Flats. Both Cheyenne and Nephi’s outfits were stunning, Nephi wearing a tan suit with a pink tie and Cheyenne with her elegant and flowing dress from Maggie Sottero. When it came time for some portraits of both of them Nephi could not keep his eyes off of Cheyenne! They both have such a fun and playful energy around one another which was a blast to work with throughout their elopement.

Reading Their Vows in Paradise

Once we had a good amount of portraits of Cheyenne and Nephi we made our way to our next location for them to read their vows to one another. We found an area of the Utah Salt Flats where there was some standing water creating the most majestic setting for their elopement. Seeing the landscape of Utah reflecting off the water of the Salt Flats during their vow reading was honestly jaw dropping and something I still cannot get over to this day. After reading their vows we took some more portraits in this area as it was just too beautiful to pass up. Both Cheyenne and Nephi were so trusting and went with all of my different directions and posing. It was no small part in making their elopement day the incredible experience that it was!
